Day 1 (Sat)
London – Cape Town

Depart from Heathrow o­n your Virgin Atlantic overnight flight to Cape Town.

Day 2 (Sun)
Cape Town

You will be met o­n arrival at Cape Town Airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps take the cable car up Table Mountain. o­nce at the top, walking around is easy and provides some of the most breathtaking views in South Africa. Perhaps have a snack at the mountain top bistro before returning.

Days 3-4 (Mon/Tues)
Cape Town

This morning take an included half-day tour down the Cape Peninsular past Hout Bay and Chapman Peak to Cape Point. Take the cable car to a viewing platform for panoramic views of the Cape of Good Hope. Your afternoon is at leisure to explore the city. Maybe visit Robben Island or take a champagne sunset cruise o­n Table Bay. Breakfast included.

Day 5 (Wed)
Cape Town – Oudtshoorn

Depart today o­n your luxury escorted tour of South Africa’s highlights, first the winelands, Robertson, Montagu and the Klein Karoo to Oudtshoorn, the “Ostrich Capital” of the world. Breakfast and Dinner Included

Day 6 (Thur)
Oudtshoorn – Knysna

After breakfast tour the vast Cango limestone caves and take a guided Ostrich Farm tour. Continue via George to Knysna where your afternoon is at leisure to explore. Knysna has a superb location o­n a lagoon with high cliffs flanking the entrance from the sea. Breakfast Included

Day 7 (Fri)
Knysna

Today a cruise across the lagoon to Featherbed Nature Reserve is included. Ride to the top of Western Head and stroll down through the milkwood trees with awesome views of the lagoon, the Heads and the Indian Ocean. Southern Right, Humpback or Brydes whales may be seen offshore from June to November. Lunch is included in your tour and your afternoon is at leisure in Knysna. Breakfast & Lunch Included

Day 8 (Sat)
Knysna – Port Elizabeth

Continue east today along a breathtaking stretch of the Garden Route skirting the Tsitsikamma mountains - forests o­n o­ne side of you, rugged cliffs and sandy bays o­n the other. Cross Broukrans Bridge, site of the world's highest bungee jump and Storms River Bridge before arriving at Port Elizabeth. Breakfast & Dinner Included

Overnight (1): Port Elizabeth - Garden Court Kings Beach or similar


Day 9 (Sun) Port Elizabeth - Johannesburg

Morning tour of Addo Elephant Park. Transfer for Johannesburg flight. Remainder of day at leisure (unescorted). Breakfast included.
Overnight (1): Johannesburg - Garden Court Katherine Street or similar.

Day 10 (Mon) Johannesburg - Kruger

Transfer from Johannesburg to Mpumalanga via Nelspruit, White River and Hazyview to lodge o­n the border of Kruger National Park (unescorted). Check-in. Depart o­n an afternoon open vehicle game drive with an experienced ranger. Dinner under the stars in a traditional African ‘Boma’ (weather permitting). Breakfast and dinner included.

Overnights (3): Mpumalanga - Pestana Kruger Gate Lodge or similar

Day 11 (Tues) Kruger National Park

Early morning breakfast before experiencing the breathtaking Panorama Route, including Bourke’s Luck potholes, Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and Lisbon waterfall. Return to the lodge in time for lunch (own account) and spend the remainder of the day at leisure around the pool or viewing deck overlooking the Sabie River. Breakfast and dinner included.

Day 12 (Wed) Kruger National Park

Early morning open vehicle game drive in the Kruger National Park. Breakfast at lodge. Rest of day at leisure, enjoy lodge facilities. Early afternoon open vehicle game drive in Kruger National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Breakfast and dinner included.

Day 13 (Thurs) Kruger - Johannesburg - UK

Early morning open vehicle game drive in the Kruger National Park with experienced ranger. Breakfast at lodge. Return to Johannesburg arriving late afternoon, at approximately 19h00 (unescorted)

You will be dropped at your hotel. Breakfast Included

Overnight: Johannesburg - Garden Court Katherine Street or similar.

Day 14 (Fri)
Johannesburg
Leisurely day before you are transferred to the airport for your overnight flight to the UK. Breakfast included.
