Depart from Heathrow on your Virgin Atlantic overnight flight to Cape Town.
Days 2 (Sun)
Cape Town
You will be met on arrival at Cape Town Airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps take the cable car up Table Mountain. once at the top, walking around is easy and provides some of the most breathtaking views in South Africa. Perhaps have a snack at the mountain top bistro before returning.

Days 3-4 (Mon/Tues)
Cape Town
This morning take an included half-day tour down the Cape Peninsular past Hout Bay and Chapman Peak to Cape Point. Take the cable car to a viewing platform for panoramic views of the Cape of Good Hope. Your afternoon is at leisure to explore the city. Maybe visit Robben Island or take a champagne sunset cruise on Table Bay. Breakfast included.
Day 5 (Wed)
Cape Town – Oudtshoorn
Depart today on your luxury escorted tour of South Africa’s highlights, first the winelands, Robertson, Montagu and the Klein Karoo to Oudtshoorn, the “Ostrich Capital” of the world. Breakfast and Dinner Included

Day 6 (Thur)
Oudtshoorn – Knysna
After breakfast tour the vast Cango limestone caves and take a guided Ostrich Farm tour. Continue via George to Knysna where your afternoon is at leisure to explore. Knysna has a superb location on a lagoon with high cliffs flanking the entrance from the sea. Breakfast Included

Day 7 (Fri)
Knysna
Today a cruise across the lagoon to Featherbed Nature Reserve is included. Ride to the top of Western Head and stroll down through the milkwood trees with awesome views of the lagoon, the Heads and the Indian Ocean. Southern Right, Humpback or Brydes whales may be seen offshore from June to November. Lunch is included in your tour and your afternoon is at leisure in Knysna. Breakfast & Lunch Included
Day 8 (Sat)
Knysna – Port Elizabeth
Continue east today along a breathtaking stretch of the Garden Route skirting the Tsitsikamma mountains - forests on one side of you, rugged cliffs and sandy bays on the other. Cross Broukrans Bridge, site of the world's highest bungee jump and Storms River Bridge before arriving at Port Elizabeth. Breakfast Included

Port Elizabeth – Private Game Park
A private transfer will be provided this morning from Port Elizabeth to your private game reserve. Enjoy tea and a late afternoon open vehicle game drive. Full board Included

Lalibela Game Reserve now consists of 7,500 hectares (approximately 18,500 acres) and is home to the Big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo & leopard). Lalibela is unique in the Eastern Cape in that we have no public roads running through our property. All of the animals, including the predators, are free-roaming throughout the entire reserve.
We currently have three game lodges - Lentaba Lodge, Mark's Camp and Tree Tops - all offering decor that is infused with the essence of Africa, as well as warm and friendly service and unforgettable game viewing. Lalibela brings you the charm of authentic Africa and is a perfect blend of the formal and informal. At Lalibela, food is true safari cuisine with an emphasis on local specialties, ranging from centuries-old recipes to exciting contemporary African dishes.

Private Game Reserve
Game drives at Lalibela private game reserve are led by professional rangers. The rangers have extensive big five game knowledge, which means you are likely to view lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, antelope, abundant birdlife and rare flora on our game drives. This is a birdwatchers paradise and binoculars are trained to spot rare specimens amongst the abundant birdlife. Full board included.

Port Elizabeth to UK
Enjoy a morning game drive before you depart the lodge on a private transfer to Port Ellizabeth Airport in time for your afternoon flight to Johannesburg and overnight connection to London. Breakfast Included

Arrive early morning at London Heathrow Airport at the end of your South African tour.
